  7.     The timing couldn't have been worse. As Martina
  8. Navratilova prepared for Wimbledon, she got smacked with a
  9. lawsuit by former lover Judy Nelson. Seems Nelson is seeking
  10. half the assets acquired during the seven years she spent with
  11. the tennis star. But last week Navratilova went to the net with
  12. a swipe of her own by appearing on the syndicated TV show A
  13. Current Affair. "I am very hurt by everything that's happening,"
  14. she said on the show. "Seven years, and now it all seems to come
  15. down to greed." Affair also aired a videotape the couple made
  16. in 1986 that shows them signing a partnership agreement.
  17. Navratilova calls the contract invalid and says she "didn't
  18. understand" what she was signing.
